I often buy Gardein meatless Chick'n Strips but don't use the teriyaki packet that comes with it. I now have 3 packets and want to use them on my next backpacking trip. Do you have any suggestions of how I can use them on my upcoming backcountry trip? The trip is meatless, so I'm seeking other ideas. I'm not interested in getting more of the chick'n strips just to make it work. Here's the product for reference:

cook, at home a vegetable teriyaki, stir fry. Pack it in freezer bags, eat it as a veggie meal. If you have a good stir fry sauce can be made with teriyaki and oyster sauce (if you can eat oysters), or sesame seed and teriyaki.

Or get the same effect with instant rice, dehydrated mixed veggies (whatever is handy or get the freeze-dried packets), and sesame seeds. Rehydrate the rice and veg and then add the sesame seeds and packets of teriyaki sauce.

I'd do a stirfry myself. Over rice.
