Does anyone have recommendations for preferred trailheads at Point Reyes? I went once before and trekked the sky camp trail. Wondering if anyone has other spots worth checking. Thank You

Been doing some research. Wildcat looks interesting. Thinking about booking for next week if available.

I like them all, mostly directed by availability given how crazy popular that park is...

I’ve camped at Sky and Coast, and enjoyed both. I think Wildcat looks good. From there, you are in a position to dayhike to Palomere (sp?) falls, which are pretty cool.

I was there in late April and stayed at Glen (meh), Wildcat and Coast I really liked Wildcat, but I was there mid-week in late April and there were only a couple of other campsites occupied. It was gorgeous! Wild flowers blooming and no people! From Wildcat its a mile down the beach to Alamere Falls. The trail to the top of the falls is 5 miles RT and on an unofficial use trail that the park is trying to discourage people from using. I noticed that some of the short spur trails on the Tom Harrison map had been blocked by the park service. Coast camp is simply too close to trailheads and sees many day hikers.
