As always, your photos inspire such imagery, of compliments and contrasts.
The first photo is a soothing blend of a sky like satin ribbons, complimented by smooth sand, and contrasted with equally lovely but wind tousled grasses. The overall impression is that of beauty on different levels, as well as peace and solitude.
The second photo has similar compliments and contrasts: soft, little puffs of clouds, beautiful sky background, smooth sand, and tousled leaves which create a break in the smooth satin effect of all the other elements.
The third photo adds a golden glow of warmth.
The tree in the fourth photo is almost posed, with branches that arch downward gracefully, gently, like a ballerina's arms in first position. There's a special kind of beauty in the starkness of the bare trees in a background of literal pale solid grey.
In the next photo, the entwined beauty of the grass heads stands out against the background of muted gold and a more solid texture.
The owl and the goose again present texture so soft they literally beg to be touched, against backgrounds of muted colors, tousled grasses, and the serenity and silkiness of the pond in the goose seems to be resting. The brilliance of the golds in that photo are warm and evocative of a fall afternoon. And in each photo, the wildlife is the center of attention with the surround reeds and grasses acting as foils against their beauty.
Crowds - perfect description!
A lighthouse makes me think of sentinels of the seas, standing guard even against calm seas and an equally calm sky.
The path of gold through a thicket of trees bedded in a carpet of leaves … it's as if the path is a safe harbor in the forest of tangled branches.
As always, thanks for sharing, and for providing such evocative photos.

As always, thanks for sharing, and for providing such evocative photos. You're welcome. And thank you for taking the time to comment on each picture. They're extremely helpful for me to know if I was successful, or not, in portraying what I'd wanted to.

My pleasure. It helps me see things that I might not otherwise see, and I can transfer those observations not only to everyday living, but to my garden, and to observations in nonwilderness areas.
