Many of you were involved with my Makeover project for Brayden a few years back. He passed away two years ago in October right after his birthday. His sister is in the exact same point in her life and is at the point where she'll be going on her Make-A-Wish trip this coming week, assuming she is released from the hospital in time. Bryna's mother was abandoned by her husband shortly before Brayden died and she had to sell her home to help pay for the hospital bills. They are currently living with her mother and father. It is a very trying time for Bryna and her mother. Please keep them in your prayers. As Christmas comes, no family deserves to be in a situation like this and could use all the prayers they can get.
Sincerely,
Darren

Wow, I can't even put words together to say how I feel. I hope this lady finds peace in this world.

I remember your beautiful but heartbreaking posts about Brayden a few years back. I am so sorry to hear that they are now going through this with Bryna. I will certainly keep them in my prayers.

Is there anything we can do? If you put out a Paypal link I'll contribute. It wouldn't be much but it's important for me to remember there are folks that need it a lot worse than I do.

I have been wondering when we would hear this...and hoping that somehow it wouldn't come. I don't pray, but my deepest sympathy goes out to Bryna and her family.

Mike - I will only post a funding account when there is a specific goal needed to be reached. At this point, it is more an emotional stress than anything. Difficult decisions to be made and stresses. I will see if there is anything specific that we might purchase or could be constructed for Christmas for her. At this time, I think peace is the biggest gift the family could use.

I'm sorry they had to sell the home, I hope she got to take most of her castle room makeover with her. This situation is heartbreaking.

I hope she got to take most of her castle room makeover with her. She was able to auction it off some of the items to pay off much of her bills. The rest went to a new family that also had a child with special needs. I'm very happy for the new family.
