Hallo everyone!
I just wanted to ask if any one of you hikers have any suggestions to a good hiking route in Souther Germany (with some mountains, or atleast big hills). Next summer me and two friends are planing to do some hiking and we talked about some place in the Southern part of Germany. By doing google searches i have mostly been able to find day trips and we want to do a bit more than that.
We want to do a hike of roughly 4-5 days (not set at all), followed by a few days in a lovely German town like Munich for a few beers (can't go to Germany without a few beers). We are all in our late 20's and rather fit even though we haven't done much hiking before (we have done West Highland Way in Scotland) and we got the gear in order.
I hope that some of you might have some good recommendations.
Regards Johan

Îmi place călătoria ta. Am vrut să repet pe același transport doar în România. Am nevoie de indicii și răspunsuri. - - - Google Translate (provided by bp2go!):
I like your trip. I wanted to repeat the same transport only in Romania. I need clues and answers.

I'd recommend doing part of the Venice to Munich Path. It takes 21 days but you could pick a few sections and do them. I'd recommend the part in the Alps in Bavaria and in Tirol in Austria: www.tyrol.com/things-to-do/sports/hiking/hiking-tours/a-munich-venice-dream-path. The best hikes in Bavaria, in my opinion, are around Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittendwald, gorgeous mountain towns. A highlight is the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany and which is on several long-distance paths. Enjoy!

Very nice @laurel . Love that area.
Based on your web site, it appears you have some commercial interest in promoting the area, but so far you have not pushed your product. Thank you and keep up the informative posts on hiking in Europe. This forum does not have much experience in Europe and your input is appreciated.
