Every year, around this time, I go back over the past 12 months and put together a calendar from photos taken within this time frame. Here's my 2016 Calendar: ![](https://farm1.staticflickr.com/577/22145144603_9c8752a743.jpg) January ![](https://farm1.staticflickr.com/768/22752708162_2b2af877ed.jpg) February ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5730/22578322940_dac59d608c.jpg) March ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5662/22766245575_f48640f8a7.jpg) April ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5718/22578320820_1865e3f3e1.jpg) May ![](https://farm1.staticflickr.com/729/22752704332_29d3b9012d.jpg) June ![](https://farm1.staticflickr.com/745/22766242625_214abb8a85.jpg) July ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5721/22143497754_b6c0733d2c.jpg) August ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5650/22740246276_b847c9cd16.jpg) September ![](https://farm1.staticflickr.com/687/22578317270_4c625450f0.jpg) October ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5664/22143495324_84e6a1dbb2.jpg) November ![](https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5758/22752709942_e22af78f3f.jpg) December I know quite a few of you also do the same. Those are beautiful photos. I haven't ever thought of doing this, but I am now. Thanks for sharing.

I go back over the past 12 months and put together a calendar from photos taken within this time frame. I am curious now. Do you print the calendar yourself? If so what software do you use or do you have it printed somewhere, where do you get yours done?

I have it printed from Costco. Quality control can be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but they are the cheapest option I know about.

Do you have to size them correctly before going to costco?

While you can do the following with Costco's software, I crop my photos to a 3x4 aspect ratio and add the location as a watermark before uploading. Nothing else.

In 2012 I started off the year attempting to take at least a photo a day. I also wanted the photos to be outdoors or at least taken from the window. It was quite a challenge...may not be so much so now-a-days having a cell phone. My work on the slide show got put on hold...maybe I can complete it this year. (I've only picked out my photo for each day through June or July so far.)
Your photos are lovely.

Nice work!
I haven't done a calendar, mainly because I haven't been out enough to collect a year's worth of images. I do create a book of my family photos for my parents/in-laws for Christmas. I use Blurb for that.

Thanks Mike. I haven't done a calendar, mainly because I haven't been out enough to collect a year's worth of images. I usually have the opposite problem: too many photos to cull from. I'm never satisfied that the final selection adequately represents my year, but not much I can do about the fact that there are only 12 months in a year. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/6271026/images/nfeobv46IN62FDwjW_EY.gif)

Thanks to your input last year, Gali, I did use Costco to make a calendar from our Peru trip, which I gave to all the participants. They did a nice job, and I had fun putting in little extras--small pictures of people on their birthdays and all. This year, I don't know that I'll do one. No big family trip, though certainly plenty of amazing photos. I could help the kid do a calendar from Mongolia ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I've used Walgreens the last several years. We don't have a Costco within ninety miles here. I use one shot per month but in a four shot layout so they keep reminding me that 3/4 of the pictures haven't uploaded. But then I use photos from the current year and double stick tape to create a scrapbook journal as the year goes. The first year I did this was 1999 and for the first coup,e of years there was a company that printed scrapbook calendars and I got in the habit, but then they discontinued making them so I discovered digital.

As always, Galiwalker, your photos are stunning! I really like the July shot of the buck. I do a calendar every year as well, but my photos/camera are nowhere near the quality of yours. I use Shutterbug for my calendars. They do a decent job.
