My filter crapped out yesterday and I was forced to boil. I only brought it to a boil but didn’t boil it for a full minute. The water was from a fairly clear stream. Should I have any thing to worry about?

What he said. By all the research I've read, most of what we worry about here in the States (i.e., giardia) is killed well below boiling temp. So bringing it to a boil is plenty (note: I've been making food/soup/coffee from water that has only just boiled for years with no problems).
However, I recommend getting some back-up to the filter--tablets are light and will get you out of a pinch, though they need a longer stand time. I use chemicals all the time, chlorine-based drops that only need to wait about 10-15 minutes.

I’ll second chemical backup. For drinking water boiling is a waste of fuel and produces hot water that’s not very thirst quenching until thoroughly cooled. A few tablets don’t weigh much and can help if needed.

Thanks all. I’ll get some chemicals for backup. Boiling was a pain. Lucky I had enough fuel.

Should I have any thing to worry about? Only having no fuel to rehydrate your meals.
