Minor suggestion: could you please add a "next page" button at the bottom of the page? Right now you have to scroll all the way back to the top in order to see if there are additional pages.

Excellent point. Two things: I will install a button that floats along the right to jump you up to the top, and if you do it right (and I often don't!), you can pull down the POSTED info rather than the whole screen, the pagination stays at the top. I don't think I explained that well, but experiment a bit. I'll have that up/down arrow installed in a few minutes.

How can you get "strikethrough"? strikethrough Edit: Click on the icon in the toolbar above to turn it on then click to turn it off.

I saw that...I was attempting, however whimsically, to find a matching key sequence, like the Ctrl-b, Ctrl-i and Ctrl-u for bold, italic and underline. As I noted, a Ctrl-s didn't do what I, simpleton that I am, expected. But thanks.

I really like the new digs Steve, thank you. As others have noted, a "new replies" button would be a great help.

Clarify that please, since there are scads of ways to see what's new. • Participation link will keep you aware of any replies to a thread where you have participated. • Looking down the list of Boards (titles of sections) there is a thread title and author of whatever has been added since YOU last looked. The awkward part is that you need to learn to tap the TITLE or the TIME (?) and not the author name, else you open their profile. It takes a little getting used to. • Bottom of the Home page, see the stats, including the latest post, also buttons for New Topics and New Posts. Those will present a list to browse. •The Navigation Bar (the white strip above all the Board names) can be hovered to show new content and where it is. So if I missed understanding, I have to have it described and I'll address that.

Steve, I had missed the new topics and new posts buttons. That's what I was looking for.

I like it so far, but I'll need to take some time to get accustomed. It is nice to be back to BBCode instead of HTML. Bear with me if I don't understand the "like," "follow," PM, etc functions. I'll figure it out eventually.
Good to see Dennis and bp2go post. And plenty of familiar folks.
Looking good so far. I'm sure I'll have questions later.

Just my personal opinion, I think the old southeast regional forum was set up well with just the right # of states. FL, GA, NC, SC, VA, AL, KY, MS, TN, AR, LA
I think I got that right. Only reason I say this was it was a pretty decent community we had going, and I'd hate for us all to get split up.
Super happy with the new forum though.

I agree that the old regions seemed to work well, but I have no recollection of what states were located in what regions, except I think that the Northeast was made up of New England and New York. If anybody can remember or has a record of the regions on the old forum, that would be best.

Why do you think I was stuck for what went where? There was nothing there to follow. And how long ago did they stop calling Minnesota, etc., the Northwest? (before anyone knew there was a northwester Northwest, so the new one became the Pacific Northwest! Northwest. I'm confused. Tip: just scrape a part of a message to quote, otherwise it gets confusing. INHO!

Overall, a big "thumbs up" so far. Still getting used to it, but it's here and it's working.
You did for free what AIM couldn't pay a contractor to do for a year or two. Well done.
