I had some time to kill in Washington DC a couple of days ago, so I flitted from spot to spot in quick photography flybys.

One of the most spectacular exhibits I saw there was the Nature's Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards. Simply amazing! Honestly, I had more fun looking at these than the paintings that wow people, including me, at the nearby National Galley of Art. Sacrilegious, I know, but there you have it. I didn't take any photos there, but you can see them at a slideshow here.
Anyway, here are my photos...

On my way home, I detoured past the spectacular Great Falls of the Potomac.
