Time yourself standing on one leg with eyes closed. Test ends when you open your eyes, touch your foot to the ground, or hop. Log your results on the poll, and post below if you wish. ETA: Don't wear shoes... it makes a significant difference (at least in my case). Compared to published results, I'm a freak (possibly part flamingo)... clocking 1 min 59 secs on my right leg and 2:12 on my left. I'm wondering if my trail running is the reason, and if so, I'm thinking backpackers should score high too. Published results:

No wonder I have progressed through time, starting with no trekking pole, to one trekking (ski) pole, to two trekking poles for balance, reduction in weight-transfer to knees, forward propulsion as an energy conservation technique, to the number one usage as fall prevention.
Thank you for posting this. Will take test later.

I bow before your superior flamingo powers. Do you find you have cravings for shrimp?
I've very average for my age group, eyes closed. I'm ok with that since my numbers are right at the "best of three" for the next age group (which I'll be in soon enough.) Also, I tend to not hike with my eyes closed anyway. lol
The eyes open test...well, I got bored after about three minutes, so I just stopped since it was well past the "best of" numbers.

I'm in a hurry, so I stopped after a minute on each side. I'll do it for real later on. I do something like this for my knees, so I have a training advantage over most subjects.

So THAT is why I keep falling down. I just thought I was a klutz.

Getting situated helps. Lift your foot and get comfortable before you close your eyes.

Years of yoga Tree Stance help. I do well for my age group. I could fit in with the 18-39 crowd with a little practice.

I wonder if this test was adapted from the Romberg test.

Just put one foot on the other and you can stand there for a loooooong time. You're also standing on three other legs (and a tail). Not fair.
