It's my first day!
Anyway, I love going to other countries but I'm also cheap and I have found camping to be the best way to have a great cheap trip abroad.
Does anyone know of any countries that are cheap to get to from the good ol US of A that has some good camping? I did this in Iceland where you can camp wherever you want as long as you're only there for the night so something like that would be ideal. Looking forward to hearing y'all's input

Canada is not always cheap for camping. In the Banff/Jasper area, it is very tightly controlled. Front-country campgrounds are moderately priced, but back-country permits are shockingly pricey. If I recall, we paid over $20/night for our backpacking permits, which was about the same as campsite fees. Which admittedly is still a LOT cheaper than hotels or even hostels.
