Just finished this classic by Doug Peacock. Peacock is a Vietnam Vet suffering from PTSD who finds healing following, studying, and filming grizzlies. Much of the book is set in Glacier and Yellowstone, with recollections from Vietnam interspersed, especially during the early parts of the book. There are some incredible accounts of encounters with bears, and beautiful descriptions of the wild places that they are found. This is a fascinating study of bears, the human psyche, and our need for wilderness. Very highly recommended.
