Looks like you had a great hike! Your photos are stunning and the timing is perfect because we've been kicking around the idea of some type of trip up there. It just made me want to go more Thanks! If you need any additional information about the park or the area, I'd be happy to help. Reading and admiring the photos was the easy part - I wasn't doing the climbing and crawling through the tuck! Yeah, but that's the fun part! Thanks Toejam, Rebecca, and Crawford as well for the kind words.

OMG
I think I just fell in love with another bucket item list. I had my eye on the place for a bit, but it just moved way up in priority.
And yes, I've been screeched in. Stuff is effing vile.

I've been to Cape Breton and the rest of the Maritimes, with the exception of Newf. Gros Morne was on my bucket list before they were popular and I even thought about mortality. That tuck stuff is a bit daunting. My wife will have to be NOT apprised of it. Thanks for the great report and pics.

Great report! I enjoyed your pictures and commentary!
It also gives me something of which to look forward. We're heading to Conception Bay in April (unfortunately, not hiking... ). This is a family visit (My husband's, who he hasn't seen since he was a pre-teen). And we've already been warned that we'll be "Screeched In".

Wow! Great report and fabulous photos. I've always wondered about that region and your report gives a better view of it than anything I've seen. An epic hike to be sure. Thanks for sharing.
