ASICS has owned the brand since 2010, for what it's worth.
Not familiar with that brand. Kids loved Fjallraven's small/school backpacks - they're nearly indestructible, vs. North Face bags that have had issues. Daughter wore a Fjallraven long coat in Michigan winters - very warm, but very heavy, and not particularly water-resistant for days on the snow/freezing rain line.

Haglöfs is a real player. I used one of their very light microfleece hoodies several years ago. The problem is by the time any of the well-reviewed and well-regarded pieces reach US retailers (from Asia of courses), they get all out pretty quickly

I've seen them, but haven't looked very close.

My favorite Scandinavian brand is Exped. They used to be the gold-standard for inflatable pads and are still well regarded, still sold in REIs. I kept coveting their ponchos, but never grabbed one and now it seems like their gear is less available in the US.
