both my cold weather gloves are Black Diamond. I stopped technical climbing years ago, used to get a lot of my climbing gear from them.
hope they don't ditch those gloves, though they're durable.

I have a BD headlamp that I bought probably 10 years ago. I like it. It goes up to 60 lumens, but has low beam and a dimmer switch, so the brightness is very adjustable. I also have BD hiking poles that I like. I hope they keep making gear for hiking.

Black diamond just released some ultralight hiking packs made of the new Ultra wonder fabric/runner suspension too, though with a little controversy (ultralighters love cottage industries).
