Swiss company, US HQ is Portland?
I’m traveling in Spain currently, though more city walking than hiking, and mostly wearing a pair of ON Cloudflyers. They’re comfortable with the custom orthotics I use, and I have been walking 7-10 miles daily. Not familiar with their hiking shoes. I would rather be walking all day in the Salomon low hikers I like, X ultra 4, but my spouse and daughters give me crap that they’re ugly and not stylish - the ON runners were the compromise.

Comfortable shoes and a number (trail runners?) were displayed when I visited REI last week. Still not sure I’d take the design backpacking vs my Altras, Topo Pursuits, etc..

They do make hiker-specific models now. I’m going to buy a new model design in a week or so when I get my 20% off coupon (they’re coming out) notification from REI. Fortunately, I have $60 dollars in store credit along with my $29 dividend I can apply towards the purchase. Regards, DR

Yes, North American HQ is Portland, Oregon. Regards, DR
