Anyone else here like to do cryptic crosswords? The clues are always some kind of play on words and letters. Here's an example:
Weird holy man found next to mountains. (7 letters)
If anyone else likes these, I'm happy to continue this thread along the lines of where are we now...tkaing turns solving the riddles and posing the next ones.

Where do you find the puzzles? I haven’t messed with them much, though the NYT has taken to letting cryptic-like clues in here and there. OTOH, I have no idea about the answer to your clue above, so obviously would need to start small until my head gets wrapped around how the clues work.

The Atlantic used to have one in every issue. The Guardian posts one a week, at various levels of complexity.
So far, nobody's close to the solution.

Yodeler. No idea, maybe they are religious. Definitely weird.

Wonder if “holy” doesn’t mean religious. Maybe it means they have holes in their clothes? Or holes in their head or live in holes? This is cryptical.

I don’t know the answer, but I know y’all are being too literal. I sort of know who the things work, and nothing, but NOTHING is what it seems.

NOTHING is what it seems. Is it in a different dimension? Are we talking worm holes?
