I say this: "Yes, you might come across homeless people doing drugs, pooping, etc. around Burlington. Only you can decide whether all the benefits outweigh the costs of compassion." Sven replies: "I was more concerned with the city’s lack of response to homelessness and quality of life issues." Sven, your post history indicated that long ago, why I went to the crux of the proverbial biscuit for you. After Sven's post history me hitting the nail on the proverbial head of his rhetorical query by laying out objective realities makes me "preachy?" That's rich. Next

Didn’t know there was that big a run on maple syrup. Can’t imagine going to the flea markets with a big overcoat with various maple syrups stashed inside. Course you’d have the find the people really into pancakes.
Of course there’s getting bottles saying Vermont maple syrup and filling them up with Mrs Butterworth’s syrup. Think I should change my forum name to “Kingpin”.

I just read an article issued from the Vt State Police Williston Barracks. Teens are being used to smuggle fentanyl into Vermont. Air BandB's are being used as distribution centers. I turned in a farmhouse west of Montpelier for that reason. As my wife runs a mental health clinic in Vt. and I have enormous amounts of time spent in Chittenden County, all I can say is, would you like some fentanyl on those pancakes? I had numerous employees in Vermont when I was building houses that succumbed to the opioid/heroin/fentanyl crisis. You have to watch and secure job sites to prevent theft. Yeah, it's all a joke. I can enumerate a lot of other things about Williston, as I've actually spent time there recently, and over many years, but I'll let the OP do his own research. Oh yeah, pot's legal. Now those pancakes with syrup sound good!
