Looking to do the 23(ish) mile loop starting from the Goose Creek Trailhead. I have three questions:
1) is it better to do this loop clockwise or counterclockwise? 2) Is it easier of faster to take the Lake Park Trail rather than going around it via the McCurdy and Hankins Pass Trails? I assume that whichever is the slower/longer route is more scenic? 3) We would like to make a 2-night base camp and visit Bison Peak as a day hike. Is there a campsite with room for 3-4 tents near the trail junction of Brookside McCurdy and McCurdy Park Trail? Maybe near water at Hay Creek?
Thanks, Lennox<style></style>
