There is one in the West Elk Wilderness west of Gunnison that is not on that map. I had heard about it from an outfitter whose wife taught with me. One fall during peak fall colors I went up onto those ridges and found it. Not really much to see, though.

I've been on the scene of a bomber that crashed into Trail Peak on the south side of Philmont Scout Ranch, Cimarron, New Mexico. It crashed during WWII. The cause was probably weather related as a thunderstorm was in the area.

Huh, almost made to top of Blodgett peak years ago but storms stopped me. I think there is one somewhere near New York lake.

I've been to a couple in AZ, but not CO. It's disconcerting to see little pieces of airplane in the backcountry.
