I am excited and sorta nervous at the same time. Kinda excitedly nervous. hahahaha
Well I'll be gone for the summer, I'm on safari to stay. Tell the teacher I'm surfin' ... ... surfin USA!

Rumi, You may already be aware of this but there's an alternate route (off the actual PCT unless the PCT now incorporates it!) for about the last 15 miles to the Bridge of the Gods at Cascade Locks. It's the Eagle Creek trail - its junction with the PCT is at Wahtum Lake. The Eagle Creek trail is far more scenic and interesting, incorporating the 150ft Tunnel Falls which are approached along a narrow ledged trail that has been blasted into the side of the cliff wall adding a bit of spice. The trail passes through immediately behind the falls. I'd heard that it had been closed at one stage due to fire damage but I believe that occurred a couple of years ago so hopefully it is again operational. Really recommend the alternate route as it's kind of unique.
