I'll be in Idaho next week, so I may climb Borah Peak. Does anyone know the snow conditions on the higher elevations of the mountain?
I called the ranger station for some information, but they only had a report from a few weeks ago. The ranger said there was snow above 10,000 feet and that it had been raining and snowing on the mountai yesterday. Any current information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Drilldaddyo,
Thanks for the link. It's exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately for us, it means we won't be able to climb. The conditions are beyond our climbing level (My three teenaged daughters have never climbed before.) and we don't have the proper gear.

Give the Sawtooths near Stanley a google for some hikes in that area. Non technical and trail based hikes in that general area are plentiful. Hope this helps and you enjoy your trip to the area. Randy
