Backpacker's Pantry Pad ThaiRight now the pre-stock price is $7.50 a bag, at 920 calories for a meatless meal. That's a really good price; ships around Oct. 5th. The Backpacker's Pantry Pad Thai is one of the finest freeze dried meals I have had to date. An hour after trying my first one, my wife reminded me that there was no meat. Normally, a meatless meal is not something I would eat or be satisfied with. For those who are interested the #10 can of chicken is priced too high. The #10 can of ground beef has been cut in price from $45ish to $35ish.

It’s all a matter of taste! My brother in law gave us a couple of these because they tried them and thought they were awful. We tried one, and thought it was okay, but bore no resemblance to pad thai as we know it.

but bore no resemblance to pad thai as we know it. That was my experience as well. Went to bed hungry that night.
