If you saute your kale in coconut oil, it's easier to scrape it into the trash.

Neither of you are right in the head. Saute those Kale greens with bacon, onion, & celery. MMmmm. Roll the sliced Okra in cornmeal and fry it. Pickle the entire pod with some hot peppers. Can't lose either way.

Actually I have had okra several different ways, I just don't like it. My best friend's mother was one of the best southern style cooks I ever encountered. She would make okra all the time and though I didn't despise it, I didn't like it either. I politely ate any dish she prepared. She made a crispy corn meal crusted fried okra that I loved everything about except the okra. Rumi

Saute those Kale greens with bacon, onion, & celery. Bacon fixes anything but, I'd rather do that with spinach.

An Indian friend taught be how to cook that. One trick is to use whole coriander seeds and toast them in a skillet and then hand grind. It brings out more of the flavor of the coriander. I like to sauté kale with garlic and onions in a skillet after frying sausage, using a little balsamic vinegar to deglaze the pan. I especially like a Hungarian soup that uses spicy Italian sausage, lentils, carrots, onions, and kale. Hungarian Hot Sausage and Lentil Soup
