Once upon a time, there was an upper screened in porch of about 12x16 size up there. Got me some new skylights. Yippee.

We've only gotten 51" this winter, which is half of what we usually get by this time. I saw an article that March isn't going to drop much on us, so hoping for a very snowy April/May.

We've only gotten 51" this winter, which is half of what we usually get by this time. It's all fallen on Erie, who has 2x as much as normal this year (170"). We've had 125" to date. The Tug Hill, about 1/2 hour north of us, is nearing 400".

Here in northern Missouri we had a trifling of snowstrong wind out of the NW, and it got up to 37F. But, signs of spring were present. Went for a hike today and the several thousand snow geese that were at the only not completely frozen lake in the area last week had left. As had the white fronted geese. Two days ago on a hike we saw and heard a couple of times three red wing black birds. Also saw a bald eagle on its nest. Even saw a night crawler on the pavement when out for a wlk in town the other day. Just one. Left it alone rather then put it in the fridge. So, gaia is doing its thing.
