Looking to improve the performance using intensity training, plus other factors. Reminds me of the doctor I met who was hiking the PCT with his family. He was 71 but looked 50-ish +/- ... and was out with his teenage kids. link below: nyti.ms/2k2fFN7

Bike riding has got to be one of the most healthy activities one can do. As long as you keep it shiny side up! (my husband's crash last year was a wake-up for us both that there are hazards. Not that we didn't know, but you tend to feel immune...).

my husband's crash last year I don't remember. Was it on streets or on trails? All I ever do are streets. But, paying attention, is paramount to all riding.

On street and no car, but it was at night. Despite what he says, that made it harder to see whatever he hit.
