Looking for some suggestions for a week-long outdoors trip in February.
Experienced outdoors person. Would like to do a week-long backpacking trip, canoe/kayak trip, or really anything to get outside for a week. From the upper midwest, so temps are a little prohibitive to do so up here in the dead of winter. Can travel pretty much anywhere in the US.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

A couple of places come to mind. The desert SW is wonderful in Feb. Portions of the Az trail would be good then. The Grand Canyon can be cold and snowy at the rim, with 65-70º temps on the Tonto. Feb is also a great month to kayak in Everglades Nat'l Park. Rentals are available from several places in, or near, the park.

This February I did a 5/6 day hike in the Supersitions in AZ. I can highly recommend it. We were lucky in that it was a good water year otherwise you'll need to plan a little around water sources.

You could spend a week on the Pinhoti trail in Alabama. Or a week prowling the Sipsey Wilderness.

Winter trips I've done include the Guadalupe Mountains in Texas and the Ouachita Trail in Oklahoma/Arkansas. Both were nice, but I greatly preferred the Guads. Big Bend would be another good option. Texas also has some great rivers for extended canoe camping trips, including Village Creek, the Sabine River, the Colorado River, and the Neches River.

Thru hike the Foothills Trail in South Carolina/North Carolina. 77 miles through the upstate of South Carolina and western North Carolina.

I think Zeke has a great suggestion about kayaking in the Everglades....A cold night in Miami is in the 40's....
