16 years after earning my bachelors degree, I've started working on my masters! I'm back to being a full-time student, and I'm a little bit rusty. I had to get help to login to the wifi, login in to the email, getting my financial aid taken care of, etc. All the students look like children to me. But it should be fun! I love learning, and my classes are interesting. For the next 1.5 years I'll probably not get out as much. I'll be living in the library or the GA office. But I'll try to post a trip report if I can hit the trail every now and then. Wish me luck.

Grad school is easy..... until you are asked to teach remedial math to freshman and you say yes.

For me, grad school was a terrible slog. Just something I had to get through. I did, but I can honestly say I didn't enjoy it. The amount of bull s___t you had to put up with, was incredible. I'm surprised I stuck it out but am glad I did. You will be too. Best of luck.

Good luck! It should be a good experience, and you're probably better prepared for it than most.

Good luck. I wish you well, and success in whatever it is you are going to grad school for.

Congratulations, and I hope you get everything from the experience you are looking for! I can't say I loved grad school, but it kept me out of trouble. Mostly. Well, sometimes.

What Masters degree are you pursuing? I'm getting an MA in Writing--Rhetoric and Composition. The hope is to teach at a college level when done. I have tossed around the idea of getting a Ph.D. afterward too, but we'll have to see about that. I'm currently assisting two professors with some of their research. In the fall, I hope I'll get to teach a class or two.

Grad school is awesome. I didn't enjoy TA'ing thermodynamics, but the rest was great. Have fun. Learn lots.

A worthy goal. Don't get so busy you can't hang out here. Where else would get homework help?
