any good/easy trails around Mt. Rainier that are accessible in the winter? I will be in WA next week, looking for a cool hike and place to hang out, possibly some stargazing. wont have much equipment or any snowshoes.

Well the easiest trails are generally found around Paradise and the road is likely to be open. However at over 5000', you might reasonably expect snow.
There's a 2 mile loop that starts and ends at Ohanapecosh that would be pretty easy/good ... there are some thermal springs in the area.
The best stargazing will be in areas that likely have snow. I can't think of any good places to stargaze down low.
