Carol of the Bells has always been one of my favorites. I like this version best.

This one always gets me if it's sung properly. Two of my favorites come together in this video.

Carol of the Bells has always been one of my favorites. I like this version best. I prefer the Mannheim Steamroller version myself. I got to see them, live, last year as a Christmas present from my stepson.

I'm also a big fan of the song when it's done a capella. I think this is one of the better versions.

I always liked this song growing up....then....last year I found out the meaning of the lyrics.
It's a lament from all of the mothers who's babies were killed by Herod.
"O sisters too, how may we do, For to preserve this day This poor youngling for whom we do sing Bye, bye, lully, lullay.
Herod, the king, in his raging, Charged he hath this day His men of might, in his own sight, All young children to slay.
That woe is me, poor Child for Thee! And ever mourn and sigh, For thy parting neither say nor sing, Bye, bye, lully, lullay."
The Coventry Carol
I also love the Mannheim Steamroller version, but I'm a sucker for a classical guitar and a harpsichord.

And some originally "Pagan" songs celebrating "Yule".
And probably the most famous Yule song of all time...
