As you already know if you read my "Hello" thread, I live in Bend, OR and am beginning a quest to section hike the PCT from Willamette Pass, OR to Canada over the next several years. This year I intend to cover the section from Willamette Pass to Mackenzie Pass in two separate trips of 3-4 days each. However, there is a catch.
My bride of 13 years suffers from extreme anxiety when I am on a solo backpack trip, to the point where I must either hang up my overnight pack or find other like-minded folks to share the trip with. My wife is dealing with the long-term after effects of having grown up in an abusive home, some of which include fear of abandonment and fear of something horrible happening to me. She is not a backpacker and has no interest in wilderness travel. When we got married, she knew how much outdoor adventure meant to me, although her symptoms were not as pronounced as they are now. Even so, she really wants me to enjoy my passions of backpacking and bicycle touring, but we both agree that I need to start seeking out trip partners if I'm going to continue going on multi-day trips.
So, I'm reaching out to folks on the hiking forums that I'm a member of and looking for others who are interested in sharing their wilderness adventures with other like-minded folks. Feel free to contact me via email (see my sig) if you think you might be interested. If you haven't read my "Hello" thread in the Trailhead Register, more info about me can be found there.

I used to have a similar problem, but then I got myself an inReach as well as a Spot Messenger. That way you have two way communications with your wife as well as two different satellite systems to use in an emergency. IMO, that usually makes it MORE safe than being with another person when far out in the boonies if any emergency happens.
I too have a wife that thinks I should be partnered. If the timing worked out I'd be interested in section hiking with you. However I usually plan to be out for more like a week at a stretch. You see I'm from Michigan and when I get out there I want to hike. Still it could work with other plans I have. Hank email@example.com
