Recently discovered my REI sleeping pad doesn't hold up to a 50 pound dog. :-p. I need one that is good. I'm thinking Big Agnes, regular, a couple inches thick for these old hips. What say ye?

I went to the Neo Air and have been fine with it, sleeping on my side or any other way. Trick, for me anyway, is to not inflate it completely. Makes less noise this way, and is less firm.

did the dog's claws pop it or something? the old thermo-rest self inflatables are pretty tough in that regard.

+1 on the synmat. I have the LW version and it sleeps like a dream... keeps me warm into the mid 20s.

they do make a short version (64in) but not in the wide size, which is what I was looking for when shopping around. I was surprised to see that they do now make a Medium (72in) and wide version.
