This weekend I went to the Sproul State Forest to lead a hike for the Prowl the Sproul hiking weekend with the Keystone Trails Association. I love this part of PA with its vast state forests and incredibly beautiful streams. Clendenin Branch was gorgeous with its cascades, deep pools, rhododendron tunnels, and moss covered boulders. It felt like a jungle. Lots of red bee balm added some color. Everyone loved the hike.
