I promise, this year there will be ample coffee and a vessel in which to prepare. I'm still bringing my little plastic cup and a bunch of Vias. If I don't get coffee, it will be my own damn fault.

Geesh! It's still almost 3 months away and you have all this detail planned out already? I'm still trying to find my left boot.
(hummm.... what kind of coffee grounds? I have some beastly Brazilian something that kicks my behind in the morning).

There was more than enough coffee to be made last year, we just didn't have any way to brew it except one cup at a time !
Bring coffee making devices !

She's been depressed about the whole deal and it's really got her down. I think some campfire time with y'all would do us both some good. You've been there once, so you should know there's no prerequisite to have to go hiking any distance more than you're comfortable with. You can stay in camp all day with the cooks or go out car sightseeing/ "walking" in RMNP, Guanella Pass, etc, etc etc. Mountain time is always good for the soul and what ails you !

It's a walk-in campsite with a pit toilet. Last year, there was no water, but usually there should be.

Good to see that PG is still going strong, not going to make it this year again, CityWoman has given me permission to make it but I will be gone long enough from home this September that I would just feel bad about leaving CityWoman longer then I am going to be. Though if all goes to plan I should be able to make it next year, hope to move to Pueblo Co. by the early summer next year.

And once you're in Pueblo it'll be easy to get there

I'm driving from Chicago. Someone tell me what I can bring? Where to park? And where to pitch my tent. Is there an address posted somewhere? I went to the link, but don't see an address for maps.

Go to Black Hawk, Colorado. Continue North on 119. Sign is about 4 mi out of town.
"Follow highway to 4 miles north of Blackhawk. Just past Gilpin County School, turn left at Pickle Gulch sign. Follow signs from there."

I was trying to get an estimated drive time (which is why I asked for address). I've only driven up there from TX.
