What a great time! Thanks to everyone for organizing, cooking, bringing snacks and refreshments, and sharing the time.

That guy looks familiar, but why is he all alone? Because he doesn't shower?

The funny stories about drinks, at Pickle Gulch, seems to be shifting from booze to coffee. This year the coffee drinkers had plenty of coffee available AND had a pot to perk it in. But, oops those are coffee beans, not ground coffee. BigLoad and a few others came to the rescure with an improvised grinding station.

Hum, with BigLoad's experience I'm surprised he couldn't find a proper metata in the area.

an improvised grinding station. Clearly an improvised arrastra was needed. Looks like everyone had a good time.

That guy looks familiar, but why is he all alone? Because he doesn't shower? Well, sometimes I do. I washed up on Thursday.

The East Portal Trailhead to Crater Lake group. It turns out I had a map for that area in the stack of Nat Geo maps in my luggage. The trail to Crater Lake is marked as "indistinct" or something like that, so I guess the recent changes attempt to officialize it and hopefully withstand the greater use it now gets.
