I haven't been, but Dell has been hacked and I've received several phony calls from alleged Dell representatives trying to get control of my computer b/c of an alleged "infection". That term was a giveway; Dell tech reps wouldn't use that terminology. Dell is aware of these attempts to access their customers' computers, but that doesn't make it any less disconcerting because these thugs even had the service tag number for my purchase. I don't know what other personal information they may have gotten.
