I used to blog....A LOT. I had a pretty large gardening blog. I wrote for several online magazines. I gave it up because I didn't have the time to commit anymore. I don't write now. I am looking forward to looking into some of the books and blogs posted here. Thanks for sharing!

I have written several short stories. One was selected as story of the month and published on an internet writer's site. I have the outline of a full length novel; I am still researching the details to flesh out. It involves a wilderness plane crash, smuggled diamonds, and an unexpected twist on the ending.

I have one published poem. Other than that, I am a closet writer. I did, however, start a blog hoping to catch the attention of experienced backpackers...and then I found this forum. But several of my friends have expressed interest in reading my newbie journey, so I will keep blogging for fun. wanderlost340.wordpress.com

Today is the start of NaNoWriMo and as I try to participate every year, I'm curious if anyone else is? I've written several novels but what I'm attempting this year is a lot different than the kid friendly books I've written, at least I think it will be, with only 1300 words written, I'm thinking paranormal type horror this year. Will have to see how it goes. Anyone else in?

I'm in, but as I mentioned in the Good Morning thread, you'd not know it to look so far! I'm planning a novel, but working with the characters and to some degree the story built in a series of flash fiction on my blog. Yup, Gorg the Troll finally gets his book. I hope.

Congratulations to others on the board that have actually had articles and books published! I've written no books but have been working on something unique for a few years.
As part of my multi decades electronics career have had to regularly read disgusting amounts of technical information as well as in kind write a lot of technical documents that requires using language carefully if one expects to have others understand. And of course have long had a website where I have lots of pages of text. As someone already past standard SS retirement age, I've been looking at next month to start retirement and if so will have more time for writing as well as improving on my writing craft skills. And will have time to look at some of the work of you other folk.

For the past year or so I've contributed trip reports and gear reviews to the online magazine TrailGroove ( www.trailgroove.com ) and have had a blast doing that. Hoping to keep up with it in 2017!
