I have both, the Dromedary is far more durable. Not something I'd carry backpacking anymore, but for a bike pannier no big casa.

with back-up (3) 1 liter platypi. Allows for a variety of carrying options and if one leaks you have alternatives. I like the collapsible Platypuses. Platypi. Platypii

One of my hiking buddies has a 10L Dromedry. We've used it in the Appalachians in the winter time down to the teens with no trouble. The water mostly froze inside but it didn't damage the bag any. Its also used on bike touring trips. I can't comment on any wear points. It is transported empty and used in camp, though.
