Woke up this morning to the smell of ash, an orange sun and smoke filled skies. The smoke from the fires has reached our region with a vengeance. My heart goes out the folks in Alberta. Hard to imagine.

Yeah, here in Bozeman smoke is thick from the Alberta fires. Terrible.

Reciprocal agreements have been in place for years, and the U.S. and Canada regularly send resources to help each other. Apparently, Canada has not yet requested American help.

Shoot, woke up in Iowa yesterday with heavy smoke. Enough to burn my eyes. Coming from MN fire though.
