I've been an avid day hiker for several years, but due to financial considerations, I haven't been able to afford to go on overnight trips till this year. So, it's really fortunate that I found you when I did.
I live in San Bernardino, CA, beneath the majesty of the San Gorgonio Wilderness and the San Bernardino National Forest. I got wilderness adventures for days here, and I love it! I'll be sharing photos and such, and look forward to reading your posts on gear, trips and other stuff a great deal

Welcome to the board! Although a new member myself, you will find that these folk are knowledgeable and friendly. However we do have an interesting sense of humor. So, if you can tolerate that, you will have a great time.
Although I am about 2,000 miles from that area, I passed through there many times several years ago. I am currently relegated to doing my thing in the southeast, for the most part. Doing a trail or two out there is on my bucket list when I retire.

I thought that was you, tarol. I found out about this forum from a post you made recently from FB, actually, so thanks!
Thanks for the welcome, all!

Welcome. Now we would like your opinion on the following: beets brussel sprouts bacon kilts single malt
There might be others, but those are the most important questions about how you will get along here.
