Rds, my understanding of the land use liability law is consistent with yours. It explains why Drapers Bluff is off limits to climbers.
Oh for laws that hold people responsible for their own actions. I'm all for thinning the herd.
You should do a west side list. I will chime in.
My east side list has roots in my attempt at the R2R many years ago. We started east and made 100 miles to Ferne Clyffe but my friend hurt his meniscus and we were done.
It was after the trip that I learned, through research ans conversations with John O'Dell, that the R2R bypassed several very scenic spots, such as Bell Smi, Double Branch, Jackson Falls, Pounds Hollow, etc. i
It was pretty frustrating to learn that I missed these great spots on my trip, so I made repeated trips over the next 7 years visiting these places. We did a lot of hiking and bushwhacking to see these places.
It's tempting to publish an unofficial River to River guide that incorporates these places.
