Actually, while on the topic of inflammation a number of websites are now publishing anti-inflammatory diets and here is an article from a website blog, that does publish one, on ginger which I do use and find has a lot of "anti" properties anti-viral,anti-inflammatory,immume boosting etc.I like whole ginger raw in protein shakes or omelets particularly during cold weather season. www.drweilblog.com/home/2016/2/26/help-moderate-inflammation-with-ginger.html

I've never used ginger, except in my dreams from Gilligan's Island when I was a youngster.
I'm adding this and that as I progress with nutrition. I'll look into that and see how I should add it to things. I'll look at that link.

A few days ago, during a Toronto Maple Leafs game the announcers were talking about team members having underwent DNA Diet testing and are on diets that match their DNA. One of the team members was highlighted and his hockey stats were used to show his improvemtns over the last several months of playing.

I've heard of diets based on your blood type that vary widely from all fruit and vegetables to high fat meat based. And,one of the measures I like to use for diet and exercise is somnotype. But,what is clear is that what is the right diet for one person may be the exact opposite required by someone else based on body type,DNA or whatever.Another interesting concept is the calorie restriction diets based on the belief that metabolizing less food over time will keep you youthful longer and allow you to live longer.I think it has been shown in results for a few non-human studies.
