I assume you have your permits- camping and road - in order. Congrats on that. It’s become a daunting task. Hopefully the smoke from the fires in Alberta and BC will have dissipated. Where are you hiking? Hard to go wrong in Glacier. It’s truly a magic place.

I went with friends in the early 90's to Glacier. It is a magical place for sure. Back then we just showed up at the visitor center, they suggested a multi-day route, we said yes and were out the door in like a 1/2 hour. We did have to go to a ranger presented session on the rules including bear practices before hitting the trail.
One of the sites we stayed at still holds my worst mosquitoes award. I had a bug head net luckily. Them biting was annoying but they were so thick I needed the net to breath without inhaling a bunch.
I wish I was going to Glacier again.
