We have "feet on the trail", "tracks!", and "room with a view". How about packs on the trail??

Your first 2 intrigue me. One of these days I'm gonna try winter camping. Here is another one from my collection.

How about this one? rebeccadAll 3 of those packs are ULA Circuits. Each belongs to a poster here at Bper Basecamp. While the trip did not go as planned, it was a glorious night and morning in a magical location.

First time using my new pack a last week. Taking a rest on a fairly flat rock. The blue foam pad looks kind of funny, but I use it in addition to my inflatable.

Out of curiosity, what is your new pack? It's an REI Flashpack 55.

I had/have the old Flash 65 and love it. But I used it to death. I might try to see if there is a place in town that can do a repair.

I might need to start shooting some photos of my pack having fun on its own. But here are a couple, anyway, though I'm in them too.
My pack climbing Shepherd Pass in the Sierra, with 9 days' food on board.
My pack on it's way to a trip out of Mammoth.

with 9 days' food on board. Now that would be a heavy pack. I've done 10 days before but I'm not sure Id wan to do it again.

We actually were packed for 10 nights, but ferried gear nearly to our first camp. I couldn’t have done that without Dave carrying more than his share; I think I’m pretty limited to 7 nights, and that will be a stretch. I’ll find out this August, assuming my foot heals well enough.
