I have a pair of the crow boots I think. I bought for a trip to mount baker. 3 season mountaineer boot. I wore for probably 100 miles of trail hiking in the smokies to break in. They are the most comfortable boot I have had. No blisters at anytime and easy to break in. Just my experience.

tried on a pair of their approach shoes. they ran too narrow for me. Nice shoes otherwise. if they don't work for you, la sportiva has a great variety of approach shoes. also, Five Ten guide tennies are great for the climbing side of the equation, and fine but not amazing for the hiking part of the approach. (I have worn the la sportiva TX3 and the guide tennies for a number of years).
