I'll start...
Mpowered.com for Luci lights. I really like these. I've given away many of them over the years but still have the original one I got, I think, on Kickstarter. Probably 10 years old by now. 40% off on their site with code BF2022. Free shipping with a $60 order. Brings the Luci light down to their original $15 price.

Thanks! I have 3 old ones from about 2014, and they are showing their age. I may have to get more, just because. link

I got an email from ULA. Various specials from 11/24-11/28.
I don't need anything, though.

Enlightened Equipment - 20% off storewide. And I see that they have a wider scope of stock (ready to ship) quilts than they have in the past - even some different color combinations. enlightenedequipment.com/

I don't need anything, though. Same here. Kind of sad to get to that point in your life. Buying stuff used to be so much fun.

I might check out that EE sale. I could use a real summer-weight quilt to use in the Canyon :D

I might check out that EE sale. I could use a real summer-weight quilt to use in the Canyon :D My 30 degree Revelation is almost 10 years old, and is still what I use on 90 percent of my backpacking trips. I'm not sure what temperature rating you have in mind for "summer-weight", but it looks to me as if the synthetic 50 degree Revelation is actually lighter than 850 down. Not sure how that's possible, but at the very least I would expect the difference between synthetic and down to be negligible at that temp rating. Synthetic would perform better in wet weather, and can be used to push the temp rating of a down bag in very cold temps. A recent BPL podcast covers using a synthetic quilt as part of a sleep layering system: link

I like browsing the outfitters and leaving without feeling very tempted to buy anything. I surely would if I found a great upgrade, but I see only marginal improvements at best.

My husband and I both got another pair of Merrell Moab 2s. They are being cleared out to make way for Moab 3s. Got ours for 40% off, then extra 20% off.

I tried on the Keen NXIS EVO Mid WP and the Merrell Moab 3 Mid (non WP) yesterday. The NXIS has gotten some very good reviews. It was comfortable except for a significant crease on the top of the shoe when I flexed. The Moab 3 fit very well, but it had too much heel drop (11.5 mm) and arch support for me. I walked around the store in the Moab for a while (local Bass Pro had both in stock). The arch support might not have been a deal breaker if I was seriously in the market, but the heel drop was just too much. I'll stick with my Altra Lone Peak 6 trail runners for warm weather day hikes. I wouldn't mind a little added weight for ruggedness and more lateral stability but fit and comfort, as always, are paramount.

driftwoody , 11.5 mm is a lot of heel drop! I do look for shoes and boots that have some, because the zero drop thing seems to make my plantar fasciitis flare up, but more than a centimeter? That’s high heels! ETA: I guess the Moab 2 has 11 mm, and that works great for me, so that’s not so bad after all.

I look for a minimum of 6mm in trail shoes. However, I find 7-9 just fine. No need to suffer from plantar fasciitis or Achilles pain with zero drop. Regards, DR
