Rebecca, (and anyone else up in that mid Sac Val region) you are close enough to North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve to easily check out what the effects have been of the large April storm at such a late time in an usually dry spring. Sort of a mini Miracle March type wildflower event might be the result without much competition from annual grasses that had been stunted. Also might be some unusual color species combinations. If it looks good at the top along the road, study the map beforehand then take the trail down to Hollow Falls, cliff bypass (good flowers), then the oak woodland trail down Campbell Creek to Beatson Gorge, lower down a bit good for a refreshing dip with much warm bedrock to lay out on. On a sunny morning windy.com doesn't show wind.
