I'm wondering what else it will end up doing or finding? Cool stuff!

And Ingenuity, effectively an afterthought add-on, is still flying! These are amazing engineering accomplishments.

Take the path closer to the edge, especially if less traveled

They’ve done that a bit with autonomous undersea research vehicles, operating them in interconnected swarms that depending on mission can adapt to what they’re finding. For ex: when looking for Arctic under ice hydrothermal vents when set to detect signature chemical traces in the water the search area pattern can be modified to focus the drone swarm in on the trace source.

Voyager 2 launched in 1977 still has 5 instruments sending data back to Earth.

I was launched the same month as Sputnik 1, hence my very first nickname. And I'm still receiving and transmitting.

Talking about Rovers and just out of Curiosity, the other rover (Curiosity) has left the door open to a lot of speculation I am waiting for little Green Men to come out of there. The door is about 3' high.

I am wondering if at a certain point they'll charge up the batteries as best they can then fly it as far as they can along the rover's proposed route. The idea is to fly it out to where the rover will be in spring so maybe Ingenuity can be fired up again once Perseverance get close enough and the day's get longer again.

Originally planned for five flights, it flew 72 missions on Mars.
The Martians have filed a complaint about drones with the FAA.
