OK--I have a complaint about today. With help from the comment about Starbucks being in the military commissary, I typed in Diego Garcia. (it was clearly an island, and only a single island, so that limited the options.) I kind of questioned today's "country" also, but it's just a learning experience. I'm wrong most of the time anyhow. But since no one will guess this first try, I began typing in D-I-E, and that is as far as I got because Worldle immediately narrowed the alternative answers to only one: "BRITISH INDIAN OCEAN TERRITORY (DIEGO GARGIA)." So I clicked on that and made my guess. No problem. And the Starbucks link is here. Do a search for "starbucks" on that page, and you will find the Starbucks mention. |

I knew the Continent, but had to look at a map to find the name. Narrowed it down to a neighbor before looking at the map.

I forgot to adjust settings to miles instead of kilometers and wandered back and forth thinking of a 25,000 mile circumference. Today's was a good one,though. Distinctive shape once I found it.

The little arrow gives a lot of info. I left mine in kilometers. 20,000 km is about the other side of the world.

20,000 km is about the other side of the world. Good point. And 10,000 kilometers is about a quarter way around at the equator. |
