How did this get all the way to the third page? For me it kind of got old after posting nearly every day for 15 months. And then I saw Papua New Guinea one morning but no marmotstew to peg it and all my hopes of knowing the globe just vanished, poof, just like that. So I retired a recluse on some island in Wyoming (and there are not many of them) to live out my days as a world geography half-wit. It was sad.

Can I buy you a cheeseburger?

And then I saw Papua New Guinea one morning I had no idea that Papua New Guinea was visible from Wyoming. It must be like seeing Russia from Alaska.

My bad. Sorry I ruined your life. Can I buy you a cheeseburger? With extra mustard? Sure. It would be all better then.

Switching it up a bit... without looking, how many of the 13 political divisions (provinces and territories) of Canada can you name? Note that one of the provinces has an "and", so you might think there were 14 total.

Had to look it up: Nunavit "Newfoundland and Labrador" For the life of me, I couldn't remember Manitoba, although I knew I was missing one of the prairie provinces. I also missed New Brunswick, but only because I thought I was at 13 after counting Labrador as a separate province.
